PT Pindad (Persero) Achieved a Title at 2013 BUMN Award

On awarding event which was held on Thursday, December 5th, 2013, PT Pindad (Persero) was successfully obtained 2nd winner on 2013 Best Competitive Technology Invention SOE Category. This award was received by Director of Administration and Finance Rita Widayati at Gran Melia Ballroom Hotel, Jakarta. Also attended this event were the Minister of State Owned Enterprises Dahlan Iskan, the Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises Board of Directors and Commissioners, the officials of Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises and other invited guests. PT Pindad (Persero) was successfully obtained one of the awards after participated on the judging process which had been held until December 5th 2013. Some notable names were filled the judge panel such as Tanri Abeng, Hermawan Kertajaya, Andi Ilham Said, Said Didu, Aviliani, Mas Ahmad Daniri, A. Pandu Djajanto, Bagus Rumbogo, N. Syamsuddin Ch. Haesy, Agus Pambagio, and Hadi M. Djuraid. The direct judging was done towards 58 SOEs companies that were participated and each of them should be presenting their performance and excellences in front of the judge panel. On the awarding event that took “Building the Excellent Competitiveness” as its theme, the appraisal process was emphasized on the competitiveness forming to see the SOEs performance more comprehensively as one of national economy main pillar in the context improving the nation competitiveness. Each SOEs company was tested from various criteria such as human investment, good corporate governance, services, technology invention and usage, efficiency, and many other factors that became the competitiveness main builder. This award was recognition that the technology invention that was done by PT Pindad (Persero) through the proposal title “Business Model and Technology Invention of PT Pindad (Persero) Combat Vehicle Anoa Panser 6 x 6” was recognized as one of the technologies that has the best competitiveness in Indonesia. This award was also a motivation for PT Pindad (Persero) to keep developing other technology inventions that could be applied properly and certainly has a high competitiveness. Beside PT Pindad (Persero), the Best Competitive Technology Invention SOE Category was also filled by PT Semen Indonesia (Persero) as the first winner and PT Dahana (Persero) as the third winner.
